The fintech startup Chipper Cash has raised $30M in series B round funding, which was led by Ribbit Capital. The Bezon Expeditions VC, which is the personal VC firm of Jeff Bezon, CEO of Amazon, was also included in the investment. Chipper Cash is offering mobile-based P2P payment services without any fee. The company was founded in 2018.
The Israeli VC which led the first Israeli investment on an UAE startup
Maniv Mobility is an Israeli VC firm, focused on the field of Mobility tech. The capital was leading a $3.8M seed round funding in the UAE startup Fenix, which is a micro-mobility provider, focused on the Middle East. “As a result of the new friendship that has emerged since normalization between the UAE and Israel, we were grateful to meet the team at Maniv Mobility and now benefit from working with some of the most talented and experienced global investors and tech entrepreneurs in the mobility space", said Jaideep Dhanoa, CEO.
A new collaboration between Uber and an identity verification Startup:
Uber has announced a cooperation with the Israeli startup AU10TIX - a verification and authentication platform. The companies will launch a new program which will recognize the identity of new drivers, who prefer to get paid in Cash. The new service will build stronger trust between Uber drivers and customers.
