When Former CEO at Microsoft Israel is founding a new startup, and raising a phenomenal amount
Assaf Rappaport, Former CEO at Microsoft Israel and Former Co-Founder at Adallom, which was sold to Microsoft for $320M, founded Wiz with his partners in January only, and already raised $100M in funding. Rappaport and the team were leading Microsoft’s Cloud Security Group for four and a half years before leaving in the beginning of the year.
Cyber Security startup Orca has raised $55M
Orca, a Tel-Aviv-based Cyber Security startup, has announced the raising of $55M in series B round, led by ICONIQ Growth. The company stands on a sum of $82M so far. Orca aspires to invest the capital in strengthening their position in the market to become market leaders.
3D printing startup is being acquired for $100M
The printing company Stratasys has announced an acquisition agreement with Origin, a 3D printing company, for $100M in cash and stock. The deal is expected to close in January 2021. As part of the agreement, Stratasys will pay Origin $60M when closing the deal, and another $40M regarding performances and milestones that will be deployed in three years time.
