Ferrari Selects AWS as Its Official Cloud, AI Provider
AWS announced that it has entered into an agreement with Ferrari S.p.A. to become their Official Cloud, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence Provider. Ferrari will use AWS’s breadth and depth of services and proven global infrastructure, including the AWS Europe (Milan) region, to streamline design and testing of its cars, giving customers the most exciting driving experiences possible.
Microsoft Announces Preview of a New Set of Azure Arc-Enabled Services
Microsoft announced a new set of Azure Service in preview that customers can run on virtually any CNCF-conformant Kubernetes cluster with the help of its Azure Arc multi-cloud service. With Azure Arc, customers can use a single service in the Cloud to manage their container clusters across clouds and on-premises data centers.
IBM Adds Databases to Managed Kubernetes Edge Service
IBM announced this week it is extending the scope of its managed IBM Cloud Satellite based on Kubernetes to include support for databases deployed on edge computing platforms. The IBM Cloud Databases enabled by IBM Cloud Satellite will initially support PostgreSQL and Redis databases in addition to the etcd key-value store and RabbitMQ messaging software, with support for other databases and data stores to come.
